Frequently
asked questions
What’s the difference between a site license and a standard license?
A site license allows you to purchase as many individual “seats” of Final Draft as your organization needs, and assign an administrator to distribute those seats according to who needs access to Final Draft. Each seat allows one user to use Final Draft on one computer at a time. A standard license allows one user to use Final Draft on two computers at once, but can only be purchased one at a time, and those users cannot be managed by an administrator.
How are the site licenses priced?
Site licenses are priced on a yearly basis per seat, with a minimum cost of 3 seats for $365.36 USD. Please use our quote calculator on this page for specific pricing.
Does my license automatically renew at the end of my yearly subscription?
Your license does not automatically renew. You will receive multiple notifications in the months leading up to your license’s expiration, and you will be able to manually renew for the next year, as well as add or remove seats from your license.
What are my payment options for my site license?
You can pay for your site license with a credit card, PayPal, or a purchase order sent as ACH or a wire transfer. Credit cards are the preferred payment method.
I’m an individual user but want to use Final Draft on three or more computers. Should I buy a site license?
A site license is not intended for individual users as each user only gets one seat via a site license. If you would like to use more seats as an individual user, you can automatically sign out of a logged-in computer, or contact our Customer Success Team to discuss your options.
