“When I still lived in New York, I asked a working screenwriter what it was like out there in Hollywood. He said, “Well, they define the verb ‘to read’ differently than we do.” Now I’m working here and I’ll tell you what. We define the verb ‘to write’ differently, too. When we say it, we mean ‘to write on Final Draft.’”
