Take A Meeting is an event that brings writers face-to-face with industry execs. Writers are given 15 minutes of dedicated one-on-one time to meet with the executive of their choice. During that time writers are able to establish a rapport with a notable industry contact who can help them develop their story ideas, provide feedback on their presentation and offer advice about furthering their career. Once a component of the Scriptwriters Showcase experience, Take A Meeting is now a stand-alone event. Some of the most popular features of the Showcase like the seminars and workshops have been carried over to the Take A Meeting event. |

Big Break is an annual, global screenwriting competition designed to support emerging creative talent. Big Break rewards screenwriters with prize money and exposure to the entertainment industry through meetings with industry professionals, studio executives and agents. Winning screenplays have been optioned and produced. | |
