"After taking this course, you will be able to convert your creative idea into a properly-structured screenplay that you can submit to Hollywood producers with confidence," says Field, "and hopefully launch your lucrative screenwriting career." "

Syd Field's Screenwriting Workshop" was produced by Harley's House, a Santa Monica-based production company, and Final Draft co-founder, CEO Marc Madnick. "During the filming of this video, Syd was so passionate in his teachings, that we had to stop the production numerous times because he would get emotionally choked up," said Madnick. "It really moved me, and I am sure that his knowledge and passion will motivate writers everywhere." The suggested retail price of the two-video set is seventy-nine dollars and is available directly from Final Draft, Inc., as well as in selected video and software outlets. Overseas distribution of foreign language versions is planned for fourth quarter 1999.
