Toon Boom Draws Up Storyboard 1.5

Toon Boom Animation Inc. has released new versions of Storyboard and Storyboard Pro. Both Storyboard 1.5 and Storyboard Pro 1.5 offer several performance improvements and the support of Mac OS X v10.5, while the Pro version boasts additional new features, including support of Final Draft, Acrobat and Photoshop file format, as well as improved editing capabilities in the timeline and enhanced drawings tools.

By forming a partnership with the makers of Final Draft professional scriptwriting software, Toon Boom is able to offer end-to-end solutions to the pre-production market. Both Toon Boom and Final Draft products will offer greater integration with file format compatibility to ensure smooth transitions between the script writing and storyboarding stages.

Current Storyboard Pro customers can upgrade to version 1.5 for $199.99, unless they have a valid maintenance agreement. Customers who have purchased Storyboard can download version 1.5 at no cost by logging onto their Members/My Products Page on Toon Boom’s website. A Final Draft-Storyboard Pro bundle is also available for $999 in the Toon Boom online Store.
