Final Draft Version 7.1 (MAC/WIN)
Final Draft Version 7.1 is the industry standard for scriptwriting, used by many Hollywood writers. The program has been used to create many professional movie scripts, television episodes, and stage plays. It is a sophisticated writing tool that automatically paginates and formats work as it is entered, relieving the writer of the clerical burden.

Inside the Cover Book Reviews
Ask the Pros: Screenwriting is not your typical screenwriting book. Edited by Howard Meibach (of Hollywoodlitsales.com fame) and writer-director Paul Duran, this book does not attempt to teach you how to write a screenplay – at all. The book is exactly what the subtitle says it is: 101 Questions Answered by Industry Professionals.

Ask the Pros: Screenwriting
Ask the Pros: Screenwriting is a fascinating little book... It asks professionals - writers, agents, managers, producers, readers, and more - a host of "frequently asked questions," and records their answers.

Final Draft v.7
Hollywood scriptwriters follow a very strict format, such that anyone who strays from this format isn’t going to be taken seriously. The problem is that this format is so complex, even if you know what it is supposed to look like, it is still difficult to get your script to look correct. Final Draft 7 is the solution to this problem, taking the focus off the formatting, and allowing the writer to concentrate on the important part, the story.

Shoot Review — Final Draft 7.0
Popular scriptwriting software makes formatting even easier.

Before you can start any production, you need a good script. In professional film and video production the words and directions need to adhere to the format conventions of the industry. They say that content is king, but if your script is not properly formatted it will have a date with the circular file. For this reason, script formatting can be more important than the story itself. Final Draft 7, the cross-platform scriptwriting software, automatically conforms scripts to industry formatting standards and offers many organizational features.

Final Draft 7
Looking for an easy way to produce a perfectly formatted screenplay? Look no further than Final Draft… it's the number one choice of professional screenwriters. Not only does it format your screenplay in roughly half the time of a standard word processor, but it produces a script in a form that's demanded by most studios and production companies.

FINAL DRAFT VERSION 7.0 USER REVIEW
For writers familiar with screenplay format, Final Draft’s Version 7.0 provides a streamlined and much simpler alternative to word processing programs such as Microsoft Word. The rigid demands of screenplay format are nearly impossible to program into a template in a word processing program, and there are similar difficulties involved in negotiating margins and page breaks within a standard document.

“When I led my nude expedition up to the summit on Mt. Everest, I made sure that I brought along a good cell phone, cherry Popsicles, an English-speaking Sherpa and of course, my Final Draft. Let's face it. It's all about survival! Final Draft is a definite necessity with cool features, a great interface and it seems to run well under extremely cold conditions. ”
