Screenplay software venture Final Draft has inked
a deal with delivery giant UPS to securely deliver scripts on the
Web. Final Draft users will be able to e-mail documents and follow
them using UPS' OnLine Courier Service tracking software.
Each 120-page script can be sent via e-Packages for $2.50. Customers
are billed on a monthly basis. Comparably, overnight delivery and
standard courier services may range from $8 to $25, depending on
type of service. Once sent, the e-mailed script cannot be viewed
by anyone other than the intended delivery party.
Non-Final Draft users are given the option of a free, downloadable
Final Draft Viewer, allowing them to read and print a script in
the format. |
