Final Draft, Inc. is proud to sponsor the Austin Film Festival, a non-profit organization that works with writers, directors and filmmakers to further the art, profession and business of film and television. The 17th annual Austin Film Festival brought out top-notch films and A-list filmmakers such as Shane Black, Randall Wallace, Elizabeth Avellán, and Robert Rodriguez for screenings, panels, contests and galas.

The conference and film festival is the first of its kind and attracts thousands of guests from around the country. The 2010 AFF contest winners were Andrew Lanham for Drama Screenplay, Julie Howe for Best Comedy, Christina Johns for Best Drama Teleplay, and Dan Steele for Best Sitcom Teleplay.
