On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

The Writers Place represents an innovative pairing of award-winning writers and entertainment business executives.  The goal of the organization is to aid aspiring professional writers by enhancing their material and eliminating entertainment industry barriers.  One way in which the organization assists writers is through its annual screenplay contest.

This year, first place winner K.F.M Marshall won for her full length screenplay, Which Witch is Which.  This is the first year she has entered any screenplay competition, and she is thrilled to have been awarded first place. She is also a part- time teacher at London College of Communication and University of the Arts where she is also alum.

First place for the teleplay/ short series went to Tristan A. Thomas for his work Shooting People.
