Final Draft, Inc. is proud to support the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP).  For 11 years, the only annual gathering of the national Latino media field has been the NALIP Conference. This event is organized as a creative and business event for Latino filmmakers and those interested in Latino content. Considering all the changes in media making, distribution, marketing and production right now, NALIP’s 11th annual conference is sure to include plenty of professional development and networking opportunities. This is a dynamic, unique and inspiring weekend. Top-level speakers bring analyses of the documentary and television industries while projecting trends relevant to us all. Artists hold intimate conversations about their craft. Workshops teach skills for emerging and mid-career filmmakers. Pitch and screening events showcase skills and ideas from writers and filmmakers. Awards celebrate past triumphs and recognize rising talents. Meeting events like the concurrent Latino Media Market make matches between executives, funders and projects.

This Latino Media Market kicked off with a hilarious and inspiring keynote speech by Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper.  This year's achievement award recipients included Final Draft, Inc. friend and The Wizards of Waverly Place executive producer Peter Murrieta, actress/producer/activist Lupe Ontiveros, and National Hispanic Media Coalition president Alex Nogales.
