On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. is proud to have sponsored the 2010 Flickers: Rhode Island International Film Festival’s 7 DAY PSA Competition. The 7 DAY PSA Competition is a new program that was created to join filmmakers and artists with local non-profit organizations. Comedian Eric Hoffer hosted the timed competition, which gave teams only seven days to create a public service announcement. Within those seven days, the teams were to write, shoot and edit their film. Smokey Quartz Productions of New Hampshire not only won the Best Public Service Announcement, but also the Best Directing, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. The 7 DAY PSA Competition, which was created by Duncan Putney, will be expanding from Rhode Island to various cities across the nation.
