On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. is proud to have sponsored the 26th Instant Film Festival, which took place on June 28th in downtown Los Angeles. The festival began on Friday when writers were given just 12 hours to write a script on the theme of weddings. Saturday morning directors picked both scripts and casts out of a hat and began shooting. Sunday evening the eight brand new short films, created within 48 hours, were screened at the L.A. Center Studios in downtown Los Angeles.  This year’s Instant Films: Best Writer winner was Erin Dunlap, a UCLA graduate and 2009 Disney-ABC Television Writing Fellowship Finalist.
