On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. is proud to have sponsored the 2009 Hollywood Black Film Festival and the Storyteller Competition.   The HBFF Storyteller Competition was designed to promote and support new talent and continue the festival's pledge of creating opportunities for talented black screenwriters.   This year’s festival showcased a total of 102 films by up-and-coming black filmmakers in the following categories: feature, short, documentary, student, and music video.  Cassie Henderson’s Good Mother won the Storyteller Competition.
