On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. is a proud sponsor of the 2009 Final Draught Script Reading Series. Writer/Directors Charles Wilkinson (Down Here, Heart of the Storm) and Mark Leiren-Young (The Green Film, The Green Chain) were the celebrity judges for the evening. After all the scripts were read, the judges awarded Shane Laporte first place for his hilarious script Brothel for Bozos. Shane was thrilled with his prize of Final Draft Scriptwriting Software and a $200 cash prize. The writers and the audience were treated to insightful feedback on the scripts from these two industry professionals.
