On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. is a proud partner of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The festival concluded with a press conference and Sunday morning brunch at the famed Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort, hosted by KTYD Radio’s Julie Ramos. One of the festival highlights was watching Clint Eastwood receive the Lucky Brand Modern Master Award. The award is the highest honor offered by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

The award winners are as follows;

The Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema, went to Poppy Shakespear, directed by Benjamin Ross. The Best International Film Award went to A Woman in Berlin, directed by Max Färberböck. The Nueva Vision Award for the best Spanish-language film was awarded to Amar a morir, directed by Fernando Lebrija.
