On the Scene is a gallery of photos exhibiting the interaction of Final Draft, Inc. staff members with the scriptwriting community.

Final Draft, Inc. sponsored the 8th Annual deadCenter Film Festival on June 11-15, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK. deadCENTER offered five days of films, panels, workshops, and parties as well as screenings of more than 90 films including Oklahoma-based films and Sundance award-winning documentaries.

Winning entries included The Third Man and Freak for Best Screenplay, The New Year Parade for Narrative Feature, Closer to the Truth for Documentary Feature, Damn the Past! for Narrative Short, and The Jump for Documentary Short. Final Draft, Inc. provided software package prizes to Justin Lerner and John Arlotto for the best screenplay entries.
